Fiji - Pilot LPM Facility

Just outside of Suva, Fiji, the LPM Project has established its first community recycling facility at CATD. Using innovative technology developed by our team, we’ve trained local Fijians to transform plastic waste into valuable products.

This facility produces items such as pet bowls, flying discs, and durable street poles, demonstrating how waste can be repurposed into functional goods. These goods are available for purchase through our shop with all proceeds going back to the locals and into the project for future facilities.

Australia - LPM at home?

The LPM Project has always been focused on the Asia-Pacific region as its main target. However, we have also conducted exploratory trips to Indigenous communities in regional areas off the coast of Queensland, Australia. During these visits, we received incredible support and enthusiasm from the locals about establishing a recycling facility to assist in the cleanup of their local environment.

We share their excitement and are actively exploring funding options to make this initiative a reality. Unfortunately, it is a more expensive exercise to do this in Australia. If you’re interested in contributing or supporting this effort, we’d love to hear from you!

Crafted Liberation

By RK Collective

Crafted Liberation is a collaborative project that was ideated by Nila Rezaei, co-founder and design director of RK Collective. Nila's vision was to transform unwanted headscarves donated by Iranian women into stadium seats, as a statement for women empowerment.

The LPM Project joined RK Collective to bring these seats to life by using our WasticFibre technology to develop and manufacture these amazing products.
